Skilled Owner/Director Natalie Vidal has had over 20 years of experience in the hairdressing industry, including several years in Melbourne, where she committed herself to the highest standard of training in every part of her profession, also completing two make-up courses enabling her to freelance as a hair and make-up artist for numerous weddings upon her move back to Perth. Natalie has a passion for quality, attention to detail, a talent for creating perfectly stunning looks, and delivering an unsurpassed level of customer satisfaction.

With complimentary beverages served in pretty vintage china and snacks offered with every service, we are dedicated to showing hospitality and taking great care to offering thoughtful and personalised service.

With the current outbreak we are now facing with Covid 19, I thought I would reach out to let you know we are taking this very seriously. We would like to bring to your attention this important update, and advise you how we are responding.

We care about the health and wellbeing of our clients, staff and families, and wanted to share with you what precautionary measures we are taking to protect our clients and staff within our salon environment:

Screening and hand sanitizer upon arrival - all clients for Vintage Hairess are requested to use hand sanitizer upon entering salon before and after services, and to fill in a disclaimer form in line with the WHO and Australian Department of Health guidelines. We kindly ask anyone with flu-like symptoms (fever, dry cough, sore throat, fatigue and shortness of breath) to please reschedule their appointment once symptoms clear. We are also requiring sick staff to stay home.

• Social distancing - we are alternating work stations to increase the amount of distance in between each client and staggering our appointments, allowing us extra time for sanitization. We will be readjusting our distancing measures should tighter restrictions be required. My staff and I are also aware of the need for social distancing outside the salon to further protect our clients and own families.

Increased sanitization - we have ramped up our usual sanitization and cleaning routine to be more frequent and structured. We are practising thorough hand washing between each client. High traffic areas (stations, chairs, basins and basin chairs) are wiped down with disinfectant between client, towels and capes are sanitized after one use. We have increased our use of barbicide and disinfectant for all service related tools and equipment.

Reducing items of contact - all magazines have now been removed but clients are welcome to bring their own as well as any electronic equipment if they wish to do so. We have minimised other unnecessary items in the salon to reduce the likelihood of the spread of virus.

We realise these are challenging times, and are appreciative of your support in partnering with us. Hopefully these steps we have taken will give you comfort and reassurance that we are doing the best we can to protect your safety. Once again, please advise our salon and reschedule your appointment if you are unwell or showing flu-like symptoms. By working together, we will sustain a healthy salon environment for all our clients and staff to enjoy.
